ITC Publishing Task Force is in Chicago, the Branches of Berlin, Beijing, London and Mexico City, in addition to other sectors, organize Italy’s presence respectively to the following fairs: Frankfurt Buchmesse, Beijing Book Fair, London Book Fair and the Guadalajara Book Fair.

Our mission is promoting business opportunities and industrial cooperation between Italian and foreign companies

The Italian Trade Commission (ITC) is the government agency entrusted with promoting trade, business opportunities and industrial cooperation between Italian and foreign companies. Headquartered in Rome, where it is known as Istituto nazionale per il Commercio Estero (ICE), through 17 offices in Italy and 117 branch offices in over 87 countries. Its activities include organizing the participation of Italian companies at tradeshows, exhibitions, workshops and bilateral meetings all over the world.

In support of the Italian publishing sector, ITC, in partnership with A.I.E. (The Italian Publishers Association), undertakes many initiatives including facilitating the gathering of information, conducting market surveys, invitations to attend the major book fairs in Italy including Bologna Children’s Book Fair, Turin International Book Fair, Artelibro, and Rome “Più libri più liberi”; advertising campaigns and participation at major international book fairs worldwide.

In recognition of the increased importance of the U.S. market, the ITC has established a Publishing Task Force in its Chicago Branch to promote Italian publishers by creating and maintaining its publishing website www.italbooks.com and by organizing Italy’s presence at US book fairs (BookExpo America, ACTFL – American Council Teachers of Foreign Languages and NECTFL – Norhteast Conference Teachers of Foreign Languages).
