Lucca, l’anfiteatro di carta
Lucca. The paper Amphitheater
by Taisuke Kuroda and Naoko Kuroda
This book tells the story of the Piazza Anfiteatro in Lucca, from the Roman origins to our days, and contains a cardboard model in 1:500 scale to build and keep. The model is a faithful reproduction that derives from the studies of Taisuke Kuroda, associate professor of the department of engineering of the Kanto Gaukin University in Yokohama, Japan, an estimator of the "ciambellone" (big bun), as he loves to call the Anfiteatro. The graphic design is by the architect Naoko Kuroda of the TAI Studio. Mounting instructions are inside.
