On the 1st of January 1950 the United Nations assigned Somalia in trust to Italy that kept it till 1960. On 1963 the A.M.I. started to train up in Alghero some congolese soldiers and thanks to the excellent work done, on 1964 an  aeronautical cooperation protocol was signed in Rome between Italy and Congo. The book retraces photographically the history of those years, also with  exhaustive captions.
