Since its founding in 2004, Lavieri has worked in various areas (literature, children’s books, comics), producing books for different interests and skills, but sharing the same passion for seeking titles and the care of the volume. Since 2016, Lavieri has been a member of AIE – Associazione Italiana Editori.
Literature is offered by the series Arno and Autrement that includes some of the major writers of the twentieth century, such as Arno Schmidt, Walter Kempowski, Hans Henny Jahnn, Claude Simon, Emmanuel Bove.
With the children’s books, Lavieri offers a light and fun production to help a little to tackle the adventures of everyday life in “defiance of wizards and witches and the escapes from reality”. Among the many well-known illustrators and cartoonists are Massimiliano Frezzato and Giuseppe Palumbo.
In the comic book area, Lavieri won the Anafi prize for bringing to Italy a selection of foreign authors (Arkas, Galvao, Sonny Liew) and enhancing some Italian young talents as Paolo Cossi, Andrea Scoppetta, Gianluca Maconi, Alessandro Rak, Davide Pascutti and Erika De Pieri.
In just a short time, Lavieri has already garnered acclaim among critics, companies and the public, which, especially at exhibitions, responding positively to the small selection of titles offered each year.
