Publishing house, Round Robin recently announced that the unique and magical tale of Orientalia, by Alberto Toso Fei, illustrated by Marco Tagliapietra, is nominated for a Strega Award.
The Strega Award is the most presitgious Italian literary awards. It is presented annually to the author whose work is voted as the best Italian narrative (fiction or nonfiction) published the preceding year. Winning authors/works beautifully and effectively portray Italy by recounting its traditions, linguistic changes, and cultural environment via literary prose.
