Antique Maps of the Mediterranean Islands Volume III

Even in ancient times, the Mediterranean was an immense sea that needed weeks to navigate. The islands were considered special places and fascinated the collective imagination.

Volume III contains 10 reproductions of  antique maps consisting of the Islands in the Western basin of the Mediterranean Sea. The reproductions are made in strict accordance with the size and color  of the original maps, which were made between 1528 and 1752. A monograph contains the technical specifications of each map and a profile of the author.
