Marco Simoncelli embodies the epic of motorcycling. The poetic prose of Tonon tells the actions of this smiling champion and immortalizes him in the Olympus of placid and silent gods. This slow boy, always cheerful, an anti-hero loved by all, able to excite motorcycling fans and attract those not passionate about the sport, was one of the few able to take motorcycling out of the circuit and among the people. On track Simoncelli was battling ancient wars, made of sacrifice and talent and Tonon recounts the most important steps of his very short and dazzling career.
