Little Red Riding Hood

by Massimiliano Frezzato

The versions of Little Red Riding Hood – says Frezzato in his short Introduction – “are millions, one for EACH mother, and in most cases these are much less cruel those of books”.

And in the game of re-interpretations, in the game of the oral tale, Little Red Riding Hood, reveals more than other modern-classic stories its strength: that of being a “myth” that renewed itself in EVERY era.

In this case the author has regenerated – beyond the images – with small additions, located in the text with a different color, that can be skipped if you want to have a shorter version, and read them for a fun and different levels of reading.

Massimiliano Frezzato (Turin, 1967) is one of the more popular Italian artists. His first works were published in various magazines beginning in 1985.
