L'uomo di Schrödinger (The man from Schrödinger)

by Giovanni Marchese

The book tells the story about a man that is admitted in hospital after being found unconscious on a roadside. Once out of the coma, he finds himself suffering from amnesia. He had a serious wound on his head caused by a blunt object, as well as various cuts and bruises on his body. He was probably the victim of an assault with the aim of robbery. Now he doesn’t have any documents. Fearful, he escapes to search his past. Physically weak and exhausted, he suffers from shooting and sudden migraines. His head injury will heal progressively and his memories will re-emerge in bits and pieces through dreams and visions. Unexpected brainwaves sprung from accidental stimuli. He will go through strange, odd events through the Twilight zone, distressing and dreamlike experiences. At the end, he will manage to remember who he is, but is trapped as author of the brutal homicide of two girls, where he got his wound from that made him lose his memory, and will be arrested.
