SU ANASI. LA DONNA DELL’ACQUA
“Her hair were like silver strands.
By the river that went through the thick forest.
Every night she combed them and singed.
Her name was Su Anasi. The woman of the water.
Grannies always told the children stories about her.
A beautiful woman that used to sing and comb her hair at night. Only at
night. Only by the river.”
“A Tartarian fairy-tale that my grannie told me when I was a little child. Set somewhere near Kazan”. Dilka Bear
