May 2013 – The Italian Trade Commission announces Italy’s official participation at BookExpo America 2013 (May 30-June 1). Booth #802 will showcase books, catalogues and multimedia products by 23 Italian exhibitors.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet with Italian representatives from 24 ORE Cultura, Abaco Edizioni by Vecchi Editore, Arnoldo Mondadori, Atlantyca, Bologna Children’s Book Fair, Coedisar, Corraini Edizioni, Elcograf, Eli Edizioni, Giunti Editore, Heritage Edizioni, La Coccinella, Logosedizioni, Moon, Scripta Maneant, White Star Edizioni/De Agostini and Zanardi, Gruppo Editoriale,
The latest offerings by Bozen-Bolzano University Press, Carthusia Edizioni, Edilingua Edizioni, Gruppo Albatros Il Filo, Il Gatto e la Luna, and ZOOlibri will also be on display.
Additional Italian publishers participating at BookExpo America 2013 are Rizzoli International Publications (Art, Architecture, Photography) in Booth 2756-2757 and De Agostini Publishing (Adult, Young Adult) in Booth 1611.
According to the U.S. Department of Commerce (Bureau of Census), in 2012 Italy ranked sixth among the major foreign suppliers of books, newspapers and other printed matter, exporting $92 million of products, in particular dictionaries, encyclopedias, bibles, newspapers and journals.
The Italian Trade Commission is the government agency entrusted with promoting trade, industrial and technological cooperation, and disseminating economic information regarding Italy abroad.
