Alice is sixteen, is half-English and an orphan. After her parents’ death, she moves to a little southern village, where she has to live with her grandmother, a terrible retired teacher. But Alice doesn’t give up on her new life, as she has a proud and rebellious temperament. So she tries to run away and she takes a ride to the airport with an unknown and mysterious man whom she calls “Sunglasses”. But Sunglasses looks really dangerous and he has no intention to let her go. Alice is in trap. After a high-tension trip in which the driver tries everything to scare Alice, he will reveal himself to be a policeman and he will help Alice to find her relatives in England and to improve her life.
