Lo Spirito e la Parola

Starting from the Gospel reading of the episode in which Jesus claims to be consecrated by the Spirit for the mission (Luke 4), the Author, in this valuable contribution, emphasizes the essential link between the word of God and the action of the Holy Spirit: the word of God cannot be acknowledged without the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit can not be poured out if it is not accompanied by the word of God. Out of this truth, the mission of believers may not see realized the liberation that announces; the word of God can be misrepresented; the Holy Spirit can remain an anonymous force; and the faith risks being reduced to an abstract idea.
