Gianumberto Accinelli lives in Bologna. He’s an entomologist, science writer, and conservationist. Italy’s La Repubblica newspaper called him “a great teller of stories about nature”. Invisible Threads of Nature (Lapis, 2017) also won a special mention at the 2018 Legambiente Award. His first adult work, a short story about a ray of sunshine, is published by Rizzoli (2018).
