On Distance

How many different types of distance are there? In this work, through an examination of the ideas of Husserl, Heidegger, Lévinas, Binswanger, Minkowski and others, the author shows us not only how human beings experience closeness or distance in a way that cannot be measured but also how distances vary according to the context towards which we are existentially oriented.
