Gemma Lanzo Editore (GLE) was founded in Manduria, Italy in 2009 by Gemma Lanzo. The publishing company debuted in the same year with “Moviement,” a book series that publishes monographs on individual film directors or themes and that intends to promote an international debate on cinema with the support of Italian and international film scholars and film professionals. In 2010, GLE launched Dagon, a book series dedicated to a particular kind of narrative, which crosses the line between fantasy and reality.
