    The ACTFL Annual Convention and World Languages Expo is where language educators from around the world come to meet. This global event brings together more than 7,000 language educators from all languages, levels, and assignments. Their goal is to provide a comprehensive professional development experience that will have an impact on language educators at all levels of teaching and in turn help their students to succeed in their language learning process.

     

    This year, due to the pandemic, ACTFL  goes digital. The ICE office in Chicago will have its own virtual booth, engaging in a matchmaking operation for the for the following Italian companies, who adhered to out initiative (Free of charge): 4 publishers and 6 language schools of Italian.

  • Bogotá International Book Fair

    April 21 - May 5, 2020

    Since its creation in 1988, the International Book Fair of Bogotá (FILBO) has been one of the most important cultural events in Colombia, with approximately 1,000 publishers in attendance. FILBO, which takes place in Corferias over two weeks in the first half of the year, is the scene of some 1,200 cultural activities, including music and dance performances.   • C2E2 (Chicago Comic Expo 2020)

    The Italian Trade Agency is proud to be a Chicago Architecture Biennial Affiliate Partner and is excited to participate in its 2015 inaugural event, The State of the Art of Architecture.

    ITA salutes Baukuh, Armin Linke, PIOVENEFABI, Stefano Boeri Architetti and Studio Albori who are among the Chicago Architecture Biennial’s more than 60 official selected participants representing over 30 countries.

    ITA’s Spotlight on Italian Innovation and Sustainability, presented in partnership with the Chicago Architecture Biennial, launches October 13 and includes a series of exhibitions, lectures and film screenings related to the advancements and achievements of Italian architecture. The 2015 Chicago Architecture Biennial will begin in October 2015 and run through January 2016. It is North America’s largest international survey of contemporary architecture, offering the world’s leading practitioners, theorists and commentators in the field the opportunity to exchange ideas as they take stock of architectural projects and experiments from around the globe.

  • Più libri più liberi (2020)

    Più libri più liberi  (More Free Books)  is the National Fair of Small and Medium Publishing and takes place in Rome in December. Since 2017, the event has been held at the new congress center in the capital, La Nuvola, designed by  Massimiliano Fuksas. Più libri is the first Italian fair dedicated exclusively to independent publishing where every year about 550 publishers from all over Italy present the news and their catalog to the public. Five days and over 650 events in which to meet the authors, attend readings and musical performances, listen to debates on sector issues.
