From railroads to cultural inroads: Mudec Museum of Cultures

Housed on the site of the old Ansaldo factory in the Tortona area in Milan, the newly opened Mudec Museum of Cultures is a meeting place for cultures and communities. Its permanent collection includes municipal collections of ethnographic pieces and Wunderkrammer. Current exhibitions include AFRICA – The land of spirits and WORLDS IN MILAN. Cultures and expos, 1874 – 1940, while upcoming exhibitions range from Barbie – The Icon to Gauguin. Tales from Paradise. In addition to the exhibition area, the building has a shop, a bistro bar, a restaurant, and Mudec Junior, an area for children.
