Kuala Lampur Ceremony as World Book Capital Cancelled Today

According to Publishing Perspectives, Kuala Lumpur cancelled today, March 31, its opening ceremony for this year role as UNESCO’s World Book Capital. The  event was originally scheduled on April 22, during the 3 days long celebration (April 20 to 23.)
The Malaysian health ministry engages in “surveillance testing” that is to test for virus people with or without symptoms in order to determine where the viral presence stands. All public events and social gathering are now banned.
