A Conversation on “Blameless” by Claudio Magris

On occasion of the U.S. release of Blamelessworld famous author Claudio Magris will give a presentation about his new romance novel and will converse with fellow authors Jamaica Kincaid and Norman Mane.

The event will take place on Wednesday, April 19th at the Italian Cultural Institute in New York .

Magris’s new novel confronts the human obsession with war and its savagery that transcends age and country. It is a tale told though the story of one man’s journey to collect the instruments of death, evil, and humanity’s darkest atrocities in the effort to oppose them.

About the Author

Claudio Magris is professor emeritus of modern German literature at the University of Trieste. Among his accolades, Magris is the recipient of the Erasmus Prize.He is also an essayist and columnist for the Italian newspaper, Corriere della Sera among other European journals and newspapers
