The 10th edition of the Italian initiative Il Maggio dei Libri, officially started on April 22 and will last until October 31st, 2020.
The initiative was created by the Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali e per il Turismo in 2011, with the intention of celebrating reading and sustaining the publishing world. The initiative functions as a platform, in which individuals, schools, associations, libraries and /or bookstores can launch their own Book-Initiative and connect to anybody in the country willing to participate
Il Maggio del Libro serves to motivate and to incentivize readers of any age to continue enriching their minds through books.
